Possessing long open time, ASA-8836 is an all-purpose hot melt that bonds to a variety of substrates including glass, metal, ceramic, acrylic, foam, wood, plastic, and chipboard. This formula composition consists of rosin which provides superior tackifying action. .

ASA-8836 can be used as side glue for bookbinding. As a sprayable adhesive, it can be used on large surface lamination due to its low viscosity. Because it is so versatile, this formulation can be used as a general purpose hot melt in a wide range of applications. The most common industries include: product assembly and woodworking.
